A day at McGee Farms

If you're looking for family fun in the Shoals, McGee Farms is the place to go. If you've been before, you need to return to see some of the new attractions.

This place is the perfect place for a family outing, especially right before Halloween. When you arrive, take the kids over to see the goats, ducks, chickens and other animals. They even allow you to feed the animals.

In the barn you'll find a pile of hay and a trough of corn for the kids to play in. If you think this doesn't sound fun, you obviously  haven't seen the children jumping off of the tower of hay. Their faces light up and they squeal with delight while they play for hours. Don't expect your children to come out clean, though! If you want to take pictures of your children, do it before you let them loose in the barn. There are plenty of photo ops with all the pumpkin displays and mums lining the property.
