Florence makes worst singles list for 2nd year | News
FLORENCE, AL (WAFF)- For the second time, Florence has been listed as one of the 10 worst cities for singles.
Kiplinger released their annual list of the ten worst cities for singles.
Florence ranked number eight on the list.
The main reason for Florence's low ranking was low average income. At $37,998, the income falls $12,000 below the national average. In addition, less than half the population single.
On a positive note, Florence has low unemployment and cost of living.
The top three worst cities were Yuma, Arizona; Morristown, Tennessee; and Medford Oregon.
