Surveillance tape leads to Florence burglary arrest | News

FLORENCE, AL (WAFF)- A Florence man was arrested after police said he was caught
on a home security system burglarizing a home.
Police said Steven Lamar broke into three homes and two cars
on Beckman Drive Monday morning. The residents were asleep during the
burglaries.
In one of the homes, the resident woke up and saw Lamar. He
fled the home, but the homeowner was able to provide a description to police.
Security video was also obtained from one of the homes.
Lamar was charged with two counts of second degree burglary,
two counts of breaking and entering a vehicle, two counts of theft, first
degree burglary and first degree robbery.
