Police said Shelia Perry threatened a doctor that she would
accuse him of Medicare fraud if he did not give her $10,000.
The doctor contacted police. She showed up to the office on
Wednesday to collect the money. The doctor was not there so she told a nurse
she would be back Thursday at 10 a.m. to collect the money.
The nurse contacted police. When she arrived on Thursday,
she confronted the doctor and he handed her an envelope with what she believed
to be a check.
Officers were in the adjoining room and arrested her.
