A wrongful death lawsuit claims Paradise Drive in Waterloo does not have adequate warnings.

WATERLOO, AL (WAFF)- The mother of a man killed in a wreck in Waterloo filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the Lauderdale County Commission.

21-year-old Cole Sellner, of Killen, from his injuries following the wreck in May.

The wreck happened on Paradise Drive. The wrongful death lawsuit states that the man Sellner was riding with lost control after sliding on loose gravel. The Jeep went off the road and slid down a steep ravine.

Laura Ingram, Cole's mother, states Paradise Drive has "inadequate warnings of sharp curves, lack of guardrails, lack of general maintenance on the road, loose gravel and ruts".

The lawsuit includes letters to the commission from residents of Paradise Drive. The letters include concerns about the safety of Paradise Drive.

The lawsuit was filed Tuesday at the Lauderdale County Courthouse in Florence.
