Lexington water customers asked to conserve due to pump malfunction | News

Officials with the city of Lexington are asking resident to conserve water due to a malfunction with the water pump.

Officials with the Lexington Town Hall said a part inside the pump is bent causing the pump not to function at full capacity. They said the pump is down by about one-third of what it normally does.

Officials are asking customers to conserve water as a precautionary measure until the problem is resolved. They said it may take a few days.
