Red Cross offers first aid and CPR/AED courses | Events

The Red Cross is offering classes on basic first aid, CPR, and use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs).

The courses include classroom instruction, demonstrations and hands-on skills practice using manikins.

The courses are offered in Huntsville, Decatur, and Florence:

Huntsville

• CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Provides - October 1 & 2 from 5:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the American Red cross on Washington Street. The cost is $110 a person.
• Adult and Pediatric Fri st Aid/CPR/AED - October 3rd from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the American Red Cross on Washington Street. The cost is $110 a person.
• Cat and Dog First Aid - October 20th from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. at the American Red Cross on Washington Street. The cost is $70 a person.
• Adult First Air/CPR/AED - October 29 & 30 from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at the American Red Cross on Washington Street. The cost is $90 a person

Florence

• Adult First Aid/CPR/AED - October 9th from 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at the American Red Cross on South Court Street. The cost is $90 a person.

Decatur

• CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers - October 16th from 9 a.m - 3:30 p.m. at the American Red Cross on Holly Street in Decatur. The cost is $110 a person.
