Florence Police report increase in car burglaries | Crime

Florence Police reported an increase in vehicle burglaries over the past two weeks.

Officials said many of the burglaries occurred to unlocked vehicles.

Several of the thefts were of firearms.

Police recommend locking car doors, putting items of value out of sight and never leaving firearms unattended.
