Florence man charged five days after posted bond | Crime
Florence police reported that a man was arrested on burglary charges just five days after posting bond on similar charges.
Jeffery Allan Albertson, 48, of Tuscumbia was arrested early Sunday morning and charged with burglary, theft, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Florence police responded to an alarm at Shan Convenience Store on Huntsville Road around 1:30 a.m. Officers said they noticed broken glass in the front of the store and located Albertson a short distance away from the store. Albertson was charged after an investigation.
Police said Albertson’s arrest came only ten days after similar charges were filed against him for burglary and theft. Officers said Albertson was arrested on Sept. 26 and charged with a burglary at the Dollar Store on Huntsville Road. He posted bond and was released on Oct. 1.
Albertson is currently being held in the Lauderdale County Detention Center.
